What We Offer

Modern Home & Hardware has grown to be much more than just a hardware store, although we do offer an extensive hardware section unparalleled in Woodsfield and Monroe County. We are a Do It Best Hardware and carry the traditional hardware assortment such as electrical, plumbing, paint & supplies, lawn & garden, hand tools, power tools, building materials, heating & air conditioning, storage & organization, farm & ranch, cleaning supplies and more!

A featured section in our hardware store is the Stihl Power Equipment dealership. We service and sell Stihl chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, etc. We sell accessories and parts such as trimmer heads, trimmer line, chainsaw chains, safety apparel and more.

Another featured section is our appliance section. We now offer the dependable Speed Queen line of laundry appliances. We also carry Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Amana, Frigidaire, General Electric and Electrolux appliances. We are an authorized service center for Whirlpool Corporation (which covers Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid and Amana) and Speed Queen.

We also operate Head Fur The Hills Outfitters and carry Bass Pro Shops products. Our Head Fur The Hills Outfitters supplies our customers with hunting, fishing and camping equipment including firearms, ammunition, bows & accessories, game calls, targets, fishing lures, fishing line, fishing poles, live bait, deer attractants, etc.

While we have offered home décor items for a few years, we have added to the department with a Hallmark store, which opened in 2016. With the addition, we sell greeting cards for every occasion to accompany our gift selections such as Willow Tree Angels, mudpie items, jewelry, Milkhouse candles, Swan Creek melts, sympathy gifts and a multitude of other home decorations.

A standby in our store for several years has been our Radio Shack, now simply called Modern Home & Hardware Electronics.  We offer a full line of high quality Ventev smartphone chargers, Otterbox and Pelican smartphone cases, and other accessories. Our electronics section also offers a selection of consumer electronics such as networking equipment, earbuds, headphones, bluetooth speakers, headsets, laptops, tablets, weBoost cellphone boosters, CB radios, televisions, cables, printers, SD cards, USB drives, batteries, fitness bands & smart watches, etc.

Rounding out our offerings is our Little Caesars pizza shop. Whether you want an Ultimate Supreme, a Hula Hawaiian, a $5 Hot N Ready, a Deep Dish, Crazy Bread, Italian Cheese Bread or Caesar Wings, we have something that will satisfy your appetite.
